I believe that American foreign policy has as much to do with rubles and cents as it does with the arrangement of the nations and continents on a world map. Americans have always been portrayed (in America) as counter-balancing and reacting to world events in a fashion to maintain fairness and security in the world. However, it is true that Americans initiate foreign policy, just as much as any other nation acts in its own best interests. There can not be any real wrongdoing, as far as any nation's policy dictates, except for the contortion of the individual freedom to be motivated and act for oneself.
