What is PublishIt.com?

PublishIt.com gives you the opportunity to publish manuscripts and papers with virtually no hassles. PublishIt.com exploits the internet to radically reduce publishing costs and expenses. Due to the low overhead of electronic publishing, PublishIt.com can afford to publish almost all submitted manuscripts. Therefore, PublishIt.com can publish low margin materials that would not be profitable with traditional venues.

What kind of documents does PublishIt.com solicit?

PublishIt.com is a general reference publisher and does not restrict document content. (However, PublishIt.com reserves the right to reject material it finds objectionable.) In particular, PublishIt.com is actively soliciting authors to submit their work, in particular:

  • college term papers, all subjects,
  • works of nonfiction,
  • short stories, and
  • works of fiction.

How do I submit a document?

PublishIt.com makes it easy to publish. PublishIt.com only accepts articles submitted over the internet. The process proceeds as follows,

    1. Author emails their document to PublishIt.com, in its original format. (In the rare event that the format is not supported by PublishIt.com, the document will need to be resubmitted in a supported format. In extremely rare instances, faxed or mailed copies may be submitted.) Layout is not important since PublishIt.com will reformat the document to give advertiser's optimal exposure.
    2. Author sends an email to the editor with subject of submission for publication with the document as an attachment. Submission of a document is taken as acceptance of the PublishIt.com copyright agreement.
    3. PublishIt.com will send a confirmation, of receipt. At present, we have a 10 day backlog of manuscripts. However, a confirmation should be received within 48 hours of the submission.
    4. PublishIt.com will forward the document to a proofreader for review. If the material is not offensive or trite, the proofreader will review the English in the document and return the edited copy to the author for approval. (This step may need to be repeated a few times.) PublishIt.com reserves the right to determine what is offensive or trite material.
    5. The document is formatted and divided into multiple web pages.
    6. The author is sent the first royalty check (a $5 advance). At present, the average paper generates $20 of royalities in a year.

    How do I get paid?

PublishIt.com gets paid by selling advertising space at its web site. Successful authors will generate traffic to the PublishIt.com web site. PublishIt.com will monitor traffic to the author's document and pay royalties based on the number of distinct page hits. (I.e., page 'reloads' do not count.) PublishIt.com sends a check to the author's address whenever the author accrues at least $5 in royalties.

    Let's get started!
